The Alumni-Student Mentoring Program connects Biology Students and alumni by matching students with professionals in their field of interest who can offer advice and information about career options or other issues relevant to particular fields.

The mentoring program is open to all alumni of the Biology Department, as well as Penn State alumni working in Biology-related fields.

All mentors and proteges are required to attend a Mentoring Kickoff Dinner and Workshop where you will have the opportunity to meet your mentor or protege in person, learn more about the mentoring program, and work with your protege to develop goals and action steps for participation in the program.

2011 Mentoring Program Kickoff Dinner date:

 12th February 2011

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or student protege after the Kickoff Dinner in February, please complete the registration form and you will be matched to a mentor/protege as an when one becomes available.
